I work for Databricks, so my openion might be looked at as biased. aside form this, my question is: How many of these 80% of companies are striving to be data driven organisations that take data and AI seriously? if they do, do they want to spend time managing infra, or spend time building actual data products that help the business make better decision? following your example, 80% of companies do not even need a Camery, because they are happy walking tiny steps using data, even Camery might be expensive to them. which is fine in businesses where data is not at the centre of innovation, other business where better data makes better decisions that can make huge diffrence against competition, definitely wanted to have better managed tool to manage these data such as databricks or snowflake.
